Hi, I’m Meg — a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom of five in Middle Tennessee.

I’ve always loved children and the arts, and somewhere between giggles, chore charts, kitchen-table lessons, and the everyday magic of cozy homemaking, I found my sweet spot: building simple systems and inviting spaces where kids can play freely with creativity, and imagination—while gentle order helps creative minds settle, focus, and flourish—without the whole house feeling like a tornado of construction paper and glitter.

That’s why I created Rooted Routine Kids.

I believe kids thrive when their environment is both organized and inspiring—a place where creativity is welcomed, supplies are easy to find, and clean-up doesn’t steal the joy from the moment. Around here, we focus on low-mess creative corners, rotating activity kits, simple stations, and aesthetic storage that helps your home feel calm and kid-friendly.
